The Psychology Department at Franklin & Marshall College invites
applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor
depending on qualifications for academic year 2022-2023. Appointment is for
one year with possibility of renewal for a second or third year contingent
on teaching performance, needs of the department, and administrative
approval. Teaching load is 3/3.

Area of research specialization is open; competence in developmental,
cognitive, social, personality, or biological psychology are of particular
interest to the department.

*Qualifications*
The Department is committed to excellence in both teaching and scholarship,
and our curriculum emphasizes student research and laboratory experience.
The candidate will teach either Introductory Psychology or Research Design
and Statistics in addition to upper-level Psychology courses in their area
of expertise. The preferred candidate will also supervise students engaged
in for-credit research experiences.
