Participate in a Virginia Tech Study on reactions to COVID-19



My name is A.K. Ward, and I conduct research at Virginia Tech. The purpose
of my current work is to study reactions to the COVID-19 pandemic. This
research study was reviewed by Virginia Tech’s IRB (#20-310). Participation
involves a 15-minute on-line survey that presents measures of your
attitudes, values, and behaviors, as well as demographics. Participation is
voluntary and presents no harm to you. The deadline to participate is
Friday, May 15th, by 5pm EST.

I will attempt to recruit up to 5,000 participants. To participate in this
survey, you must….

*Be over the age of 18

*Currently live in the U.S.

*Have been working full-time in the weeks leading up to the COVID-19
emergence in the United States (January-February, 2020).



Anonymity/confidentiality: All responses will be confidential. Only I will
have access to your responses, and only group-level results will be
reported. You will not be forced to provide identifying information.
