[CogSci] Postdoc (3 years) in philosophy of technology, conceptualization and valuation

The department of philosophy of the University of Twente is looking for a
Postdoctoral researcher (3 years)
to do a philosophical analysis of socially disruptive technologies and transformations of society and culture
With special reference to transformations of fundamental concepts and values
The aim of this postdoc project is to examine the phenomenon of social, cultural, moral and ontological disruption brought about by emerging technologies like AI, Internet of Things, 5th generation genomics, synthetic biology, and climate engineering technologies.  There will be a special focus on transformative effects on human thought, conceptualization, valuation and morality.  This project is part of the € 27 million euro ten-year Ethics of Socially Disruptive Technologies research programme.

Desired starting date: September 1st (negotiable).
