[CogSci] Research Grant: Alzheimer's Disease

The Infectious Diseases Society of American Foundation is offering up to 10 research awards of $100,000 each to help identify a potential microbial link to Alzheimer's disease.

Now in its third year, the Microbial Pathogenesis in Alzheimer's Disease Grant<http://idsafoundation.org/alz-research-grant> promotes novel research in the field of microbial triggers for Alzheimer's disease. Research questions from previous award cycles have included topics such as viral mimicry in Alzheimer's disease; the role for pathogen expressed poly-N-acetyl glucosamine in Alzheimer's disease; or the role of the Herpesvirus dUTPase Proteins in late-onset Alzheimer's disease.
