The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities (https://ssh.iiitd.ac.in/ <https://ssh.iiitd.ac.in/>) at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, a State University established in 2008 by the Delhi Government, invites applications for Tenure Track Assistant Professors in the field of Cognitive Science. We are in the process of building the Cognitive Science stream in the SSH Department, and are looking for motivated candidates who can contribute to our growth plan. We are particularly seeking scholars whose research and teaching interests are in the areas of attention, perception, action, language, memory, decision making etc. Prospective candidates should have excellent publication track record in top-tier international journals of repute in the field, and competency to attract external funding to support their research. Some teaching experience at graduate or/and undergraduate level is desirable. We especially encourage candidates who have an interdisciplinary background, and who combine empirical and computational methodologies to address their research questions.
