[CogSci] Postdoc position at UC San Diego - study children’s social/physical reasoning

The Mind and Development Lab <https://madlab.ucsd.edu/> at the University
of California, San Diego (Dept of Psychology), directed by Dr. Adena
Schachner, invites applicants for a funded postdoc position to begin in
Summer/Fall 2019 (flexible). Initial appointment is for one year, with
opportunity for renewal.

The postdoctoral scholar will spearhead developmental studies on children's
'intuitive archeology': reasoning about people/ transmission of ideas, from
the tools/ art they create. See NSF grant abstract for more:

with preschool and school-age children, and will, if interested, have the
opportunity to learn Bayesian modeling (with the grants’ co-PI, Dr. Timothy
Brady). The successful candidate will join the vibrant, collaborative
research community in psychology at UCSD (https://psychology.ucsd.edu) and
related labs in the Dept. of Cognitive Science (http://www.cogsci.ucsd.edu/)
and CARTA (https://carta.anthropogeny.org/).
