[CogSci] multiple open area tenure track positions at the University of Chicago

Hi, everyone, I suspect many of you have seen this ad through other
channels--apologies for cross-posting. I just wanted to reinforce our
interest in members of the cogsci community, and encourage you to apply!

The University of Chicago Department of Psychology is hiring multiple new
faculty members at the Assistant Professor level as part of a systematic
faculty expansion. We are interested in a variety of research areas, but
particularly individuals who do research in the areas of Cognition
(including Perception) and Developmental Psychology. We are also interested
in a variety of research methods in psychological science, including
behavioral and neuroscientific methods, and animal and comparative models.
Candidates whose research demonstrates a strong potential for
interdisciplinary interactions within the Department and across the
University are especially encouraged to apply. For information about the

Applicants must apply online at the University of Chicago's Academic Career

required to include 1) a brief cover letter, 2) a current curriculum vitae,
3) a statement of research interests and 4) a teaching statement. In
addition, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit, as optional, up to
three representative publications. Also, three letters of reference are
required to be submitted online. Ph.D. must be in hand by the start of the
appointment as Assistant Professor. The search committee will begin
reviewing applications on October 1, 2018 and will continue to consider new
applications until the positions are filled or the search is closed; early
application is encouraged.
