Kansas State University: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY. The Department of Psychological Sciences at Kansas State University seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in the Department's Cognitive/Human Factors area to begin August 2018. The Cognitive/Human Factors area is part of a research-based Ph.D.-granting department in which faculty members conduct research, supervise graduate students, and teach two courses (graduate and/or undergraduate) each semester. A strong record of publication, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and the ability to develop a funded research program are required. We are seeking candidates who will complement current faculty research interests and contribute to the Cognitive and Neurobiological Approaches to Plasticity center (http://www.k-state.edu/cnap/), which is housed within the department. Examples of complementary research interests include, but are not limited to, neuroimaging (e.g., with EEG/ERPs), aging and neurodegeneration, the neurobiology of reward and decision, and cognitive development. Additional details about the department are available at: http://www.k-state.edu/psych. A doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field is required prior to the time of appointment. Postdoctoral experience is desirable.
